Clients are responsible for selecting a tour suitable for their athletic ability, informing us of any medical or dietary restrictions, signing our release form prior to the start of their tour, and obeying all safe biking rules. BTS Active Holidays (BTS) reserves the right to decline or withhold service to any person who, for physical or other reasons, is deemed unfit for the trip. BTS is not responsible for cancellations or amendments due to acts of nature, civil unrest or inclement weather. Every care will be taken to respect your luggage at all times. However, BTS is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of your personal belongings.
BTS is committed to making your trip as rewarding and fun as possible. But we require your help to do so. For example, we rely on you to provide us with necessary personal information (age, passport & flight details, allergies, etc.) and travel preferences (type of bed, dietary needs, special interests, etc.) so we can craft the right trip for you. We also ask that you respond to our questions in a timely manner so as not to delay the planning process.
BTS recognizes the faith and trust you put in us to plan your travel. We will do our utmost to create and deliver the perfect trip for you. Our aim is to provide you with reliable and personalized service. We will respond to your messages promptly and will keep you informed as your itinerary evolves. If at any time you have questions or concerns we ask that you let us know immediately so we can address them.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport and meet all necessary entry requirements of the country or countries you will be visiting. These requirements vary by country and nationality and can change from time to time. BTS will do its best to inform Travelers of these general requirements, but we ask that you contact the appropriate embassy(ies)/consulate(s) in your country of residence. BTS is not responsible for delays, changes or costs of any kind due to incomplete, expired or inaccurate Traveller documentation.
We Changed the Payment conditions after the pandemic of COVID 19.
A deposit of 300€ per person in needed for reserve the trip (500€ for guided), during the Covid, the booking deposit was 100€. The final payment is due 60 days before the tour starts.
If the balance is not received by the due date specified in personal terms client will receive, BTS will consider the reservation cancelled and our cancellation policy, as outlined below, will apply.
The tour price is per person based on double occupancy and includes those items mentioned in the itinerary, plus any prepaid optional items. Single room requests are subject to supplemental charges, and must be requested at time of booking. At the time of reservation, a credit card is required to book and hold space. Your credit card will be charged euro 300 per person, or 500€ for guided tours once the entire program is confirmed. Final Payment can be made by credit card or wire transfer, we will remind you of your final payment date in advance and give you the option to pay using any of these methods.
BTS strongly recommends cancellation and accident insurance to prevent any losses in case of illness, accident or otherwise. It is the responsibility of the client to apply directly to the insurance company in own country. Please purchase trip cancellation insurance in case an illness forces you to cancel or depart early from a trip. Our cancellation fees are not negotiable.
In the event that you cancel your participation on the trip, BTS has the right to keep the booking deposit. No refunds are made for unused portions of the tour once it has began

In the event of cancellation by you, the booking deposits could be converted into vouchers based on the rates and payment already made at the hotels

In very rare cases it may be necessary for BTS to cancel a tour. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be sent to the client and this constitutes full settlement. BTS is not responsible for other expenses incurred such as pre-paid hotel reservations or non-refundable airline tickets. Scheduled guided tours with low enrollment may be subject to cancellation. Registrants will receive a sixty day notice and full refund or option to move to another scheduled week.
Clients are allowed to make minor changes to the itinerary once the trip is confirmed, within reason as determined by BTS and with sufficient advance notice. We will try our best to accommodate your requests. However, major changes will incur additional planning fees and/or nonrefundable deposit payments in addition to the amount initially quoted. See the “Trip Cancellation” section above for our fees should you need to cancel your trip entirely.
Our accommodations are in excellent four and three-star hotels and country inns. We will do everything in our power to secure you lodgings in our first-choice hotels, but it may not be possible if you are booking less than three months before trip or during a particularly busy season. In that case we will secure you lodgings in comparable hotels. Additional nights can be arranged for early arrivals or late departures.
Provided equipements: 27-30 speed touring/hybrid bike aluminum frame with carbon fork or 22 speed race bikes, light carbon fiber equipped with Shimano high quality components Deore or scandium frame with carbon fiber forks and equipped with Shimano high quality components Ultegra or 105; Helmet; Front handlebar bag in hybrid bike and map holder in race bike; New water-bottle & cage; Lock; wireless Cycle computer; Repair kit: including spare tire, levers and little Pump; Toe clips or flat pedals. We will ask for your measurements to insure that you get the most suitable bike possible, we strongly recommend you book as early as possible. You will be responsible for the bicycle once you take possession of it at your first hotel. Your responsibilities include any costs for damage or theft up to the full value of the bicycle. Any customers who choose to bring their own bicycles are responsible for all mechanical issues, for all transportation issues including travelling by train.
Your privacy is important to us. BTS is required to collect personal information (such as passport details) in order to plan your trip. We appreciate the sensitive nature of this information and will not share it with third parties (other than as required for booking air, hotel or other reservations as a part of your trip) without your express written permission. By sending us your initial deposit, you are consenting to BTS collecting and using your personal information as required to plan your trip and provide you with proper services.
To be eligible to take a BTS trip, Travelers must accept the risks of travel, set out in these Terms & Conditions, and assume full responsibility for any loss, injury, death or damage to them, their family or their dependants or property arising in connection with their participation, or the participation of their family, in the trip. Travellers must have their own insurance appropriate to their needs and the needs of their family or dependants in respect of such loss, injury, death or damage. The cost of all BTS trips is based on Travelers agreeing to these Terms & Conditions and in particular this Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity. As BTS is acting solely as an agent of you with respect to all transportation, accommodations, meals and other arrangements, in consideration for participating in the trips, Travellers agree not to sue BTS, its employees, directors, successors, agents and assigns in respect of, and forever release them from, all liability for economic loss and physical or mental injury, direct or indirect, arising in connection with the trip and the actions of any third party service providers—including, without limitation, permanent disability and death; any emotional distress; any loss of services, financial support, aid, consortium or companionship; and any damage to or loss of property—in each case even if caused in whole or in part by the conduct, including the negligence, of BTS, except where such loss, injury or damage is caused by reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of BTS or their employees, guides, shareholders, officers or directors, in which case the Traveller retains the right to sue only BTS in respect of that conduct. Travelers further agree that they will indemnify and hold BTS harmless in respect of any claims arising in connection with the trip made by:
i) third parties, which arise from the misconduct of the Travelers;
ii) the Traveler’s family members, dependants or heirs;
iii) third parties, which the Traveler, their estate, their family members, dependants or heirs have sued, if damages are recovered from such third parties, to the extent the third party obtains any indemnification from BTS; except where the loss, injury, death or damage is caused by the reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of BTS, or their employees, guides, shareholders, officers or directors. BTS reserves the right to decline accepting any Traveler whose health or actions in BTS’s sole judgment impede the operation of a trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow Travelers. In addition and without limitation, BTS is not responsible for any injury, loss, or death, or damage to property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, without limitation, to acts of God or force majeure, weather, quarantines, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection/revolt, animals, labor unrest including strikes, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of means of transportation or travel delays, travel advisories or warnings. In further consideration for participating in the trip, Travellers agree that BTS, or their designate, may use any photographic or film records of the trips for promotional and/or commercial purposes, without any remuneration to the Traveler.
The Traveler agrees to assign all right, title and interest they may have in or to any media in which their name or likeness might be used to BTS. Travelers agree that BTS is the trustee of the respective rights of BTS under this Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity, which will apply to a Traveler’s trips with BTS, and any transfer of a reservation to another trip. These Terms & Conditions and this Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity are binding upon all members of the Traveler’s family, dependants, estate, heirs, successors and legal personal representatives.
