We put together this short bike tour: 3 full days of cycling and 2 half days – Perfect for those who are short on time or do not feel like vacationing entirely on the saddle. What’s more, each day there will be a choice of easier / shorter bike rides or more challenging ones.

Imagine riding in the fantastic scenery and rolling hills of Sardinia. You will be excited to cycle in the same land once lived by the Giants and feel the winds upon your face from the same seas once sailed by the Shardana. Discover the many stories that surround this mysterious island of the Mediterranean Sea, once protected by the so called People of the Seas, or Shardana who erected giant stone sculptures atop the tombs of their fallen warriors and built built Megalithic stone fortifications, villages, places of worship, homes and defense towers found only in Sardinia called Nuraghi. The statues and tumbes of the Giants of Monte Prama have only been discovered recently with ongoing excavations taking place in your cycling area of the Sinis Peninsula.

On this amazing route, you will visit one of the most important and mysterious Nuraghic complex from the early Bronze Age, see ancient cities of Punic-Roman origin and visit small charming inland villages, which are really welcoming, above all, their inhabitants. You can also admire the beautiful beaches of the Sinis Peninsula and the green mountains of Montiferru. Ride through the active thermal area of Fordongianus and the vast lagoons of Medieval Oristano where you may find the beautiful pink flamingos flocking the shallow waters. If you don’t have a week to spend on a bike, this tour is more within your reach, plus it can be customized specifically for you.
