Cycling Sardinia: Wild Landascapes and Nuraghi, from Oristano to Pula via Calasetta

An ancient land with an ancient language, Sardinia is a uniquely fascinating place. Its coastline is probably Europe’s most spectacular, its waters teem with fish and shellfish. Its rugged mountains, pocketed with caves, are home to large flocks of sheep that feed on wild herbs and produce a cheese wich your palate will never forget. Starting from Oristano, heart of the Campidano plane you will ride in the terrific and suggestive Sinis Peninsula, where Pink flamingos will wait you for pleasant incounters and where you can be back in time for visiting the old Punic-Roman harbor of THARROS.
Cycling southwards, on the islands of Sant’Antioco and San Pietro and on the coast of Teulada, an unforgettable scenery will stay in your mind forever, the scent of the Mediterranean Sea and the Sardinian countryside will frame your memories and your pictures.
People here are very friendly and with them you will taste the typical “Mediterranean Dolcevita”.
